Paula Ferreira, CTO of the start-up INEYE THERAPEUTICS, was one of the winners of the prestigious Women TechEU competition, an initiative by the European Union that supports female leaders of innovative deep-tech start-ups in Europe and Associated Countries.
The Women TechEU program, launched under Horizon Europe, aims to boost the growth of technology start-ups led by women by offering not only funding but also mentorship and access to international networks of innovation and investment. The goal is to reduce gender inequality in the tech sector and strengthen female entrepreneurship in highly scientific and technologically complex areas.
